Brick material can also be used as veneer as shown on this structure. With brick, corners are very easy.
Look closely and you will see strips of brick that give the corners a raised appearance.  The veneer on the walls goes quickly, and the strips make a neat perfect corner.  
This structure also shows that roofs don't have to be flat.  The only difference is that gable ends need to be cut and then glued on top of the appropriate wall sections.
