Coming in Railroad Model Craftsman
This is not a new product but this is certainly something new model railroaders should see...
V-Scale. Computer simulations have been around for a while but this is different. Mark Baldwin has built a virtual model railroad that runs on his computer. Mark calls this "V-Scale" model railroading. It may not be for everyone but its part of the continuing evolution of model railroading that has been going on for a century.

V-scale was inevitable following the growing field of simulation that includes Trainz, MS Train Simulator, and the games that preceded them like Railroad Tycoon.

Mark Baldwin's "V-Scale" Gilpin Tram set in Colorado USA will be shown in the August 2005 issue of Railroad Model Craftsman.

Train and model railroading simulation software are available from your favorite online hobbyshop retailer.
